# Real Estate

> Track properties and their estimated value over time.

The **Real Estate** section tracks properties you own with automated valuation estimates.

## Adding a property

    From the Real Estate detail page or Assets and Liabilities.

  <Step title="Enter the address">
    Silvia uses Google Places autocomplete and fetches an estimated value.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add details">
    Purchase price, purchase date, ownership percentage, and any linked mortgage.
  </Step>

## Linking a mortgage

When you connect a mortgage account via Plaid, link it to the property so Silvia calculates your equity accurately.
